The fourth grade "Ring of Fire" was a great
success. It was so nice to see so many of you there.
We are happy to report that a great
percentage of students are remembering their homework every night!
Please check your child's planner for daily updates or assignments.
If you are one of the children staying organized and completing your
HW nightly, good for you!
The first book reports were assigned
10/6 with the children receiving directions and rubrics.
All
children are required to complete 3 book reports (1 per trimester).
The first "Canned Book Reports" are due Monday, November 24th.
On Wednesday, November 24th,
The Roger William's ZooMobile will be coming to Oak Haven to give us
a presentation on the "Diversity of Life". This activity ties
is the culmination of our Ecocolumns in Science class.
The fourth graders will be developing
their multiplication skills this month and next. We will be using
three different methods to multiply, (1) the "traditional style, (2)
Lattice, and (3) Partial-Products methods. Please review and
practice the multiplication facts with your child regularly.
We hope you and your families enjoy
your Thanksgiving holiday!
