Third grade students tested the school pond water as part of a water monitoring project. They tested turbidity which is clarity, temperature, dissolved oxygen, nitrates, nitrites, ammonia, and pH levels. A representative from the University of Rhode Island's Watershed Watch demonstrated how to conduct the water tests. In addition, students participated in the World Wide Watering Monitoring Day.
