Students in grades 1 - 5 have begun to check out library books. We have discussed the catalog, book care and how to use the library. Please help your child to take good care of their library books and return them on time.

      Children in grades 3 – 5 have begun the year by focusing on activities surrounding the Rhode Island Children’s Book Award Nominees for 2012. Last year the winner was Never Smile at a Monkey.

      In grades K – 2 we will be enjoying fall books and a series about the library media center. Some of these titles include: Penelope Popper, Book Doctor, The Library Pages, and Our Librarian Won’t Tell Us Anything.

      On Saturday, October 15th, the Lincoln School will be holding their annual Rhode Island Festival of Children’s Books and Authors.
